| Mummy body with visible hands, carrying hoe in crossed arms, wearing tripartite wig and false beard. The tripartite wig without drawing covers the ears, between the braids a multi-row collar. The face is modeled well by paint on the eyes, eyebrows and mouth. The the back is painted with a small seed bag, in front a column with painted left-handed hieroglyphics with boundary.
The tomb of Ba-en-Chons is located in Thebes, and was the High Priest of Amun in the Temple of Karnak. The relationships to be published by three statues in Cairo (M. Georges Legrain: Statues et statuettes de rois et de particuliers, Bd. 2, No. 42159-61), Father: Chief of the troops Amenope, Son: Amenope, Godfather and Prophet in the Opet Temple of Luxor. Discovery A recently discovered stele (2007) of this Ba-en-Chons shows important details to the chronology of 19-20. Dynasty. Al-Ahram weekly reported it.The stele text points out not only on increasing power to the Theban priesthood, but also give information on the Reign of the founder of the 20th. Dynasty - Setnakht. The stele was made at the 4th. Year of King Setnakht for Ba-en-Chons . The existing chronology admits Setnakht a reign of only three years. The Reign of Setnakht is thus at least four years. Consequently, probably the building at the Temple of Amun at Karnak are valued differently, after several buildings were still begun under Setnakht and finished by Ramses III., his son and successor. The painted inscription reads as follows: The Osiris, the High Prist of Amun, Bak-en-Chons Publications: with illustrations and translation in the book \"Uschebti - ägyptische Dienerfiguren einer deutschen Privatsammlung\" ISBN 3-00-014286-X, Page 52-53 |

| Beschreibung/Description: |
| A god of war and hunting who originated at This (the Thinite region) near Abydos, Anhur (Han-her, Inhert)), was more commonly known by his Greek name, Onuris (Onouris). His name (Anhur) literally means \"he who leads back the distant one\" (which might also mean \"Sky Bearer\"), which appears to reference the mythical manner in which this god is said to have journeyed to Nubia in order to bring back the leonine \"Eye of Re\", who became his consort as the lioness-goddess Mekhit. This legend is paralleled by another surrounding the god Shu at Heliopolis, who was supposed to have also brought back the fearsome \"eye\" as his own consort, Tefnut. However, the name Anhur suggests that the tradition may have originated with him. This nevertheless led to Anhur often being equated with Shu and also to his link to the sun god under the epithet, \"son of Re\". Onuris was thus supposed to hunt and slay the enemies of his solar-deity father. A very fine Example of this god and very rare. |

| The headrest amulet is a true-to-life imitation of an everyday piece of household furniture. It was only used in a funerary context. It should be interpreted as being connected with regeneration. The amulet served to raise the head of the deceased, just as the rising of the sun means rebirth and renewal for the deceased. The place where the amulet was laid on the mummy is known: near the neck in the bandages. They are usually made of a dark stone, most often haematite. |

| The underside of the scarab shows a snake-uraeus flanked by two so-called nefer-Hieroglpyhen. It is a sign that can not be clearly assigned to a particular hieroglyph. The smooth top of the scarab with no lines, dividing the two elytra, points out that the scarab is dated to the Hyksos period (2nd interval). ruled in the period in which foreign rulers from the north of Egypt, were not - raised in the strict sense - read the text on scarabs. The uraeus snake was the symbol of the patron goddess Wadjet and female deities in general. The nefer hieroglyphs stand for perfection. The scarab should give the carrier divine protection. |

| The inscription of the Shabti is unusual because it does not - as usual - with the recitation of words SHD Wsir NN \"Enlighten let the Osiris ... \" and the invocation starts i wSbti \"Oh, you Shabti\" , but but directly in the middle of the chapter 6 of Book of the Dead.
Translation:(i wSbti) ipn ir ip.tw Wsir r ms n [...]-N.t -rwd “Oh this shabti, when the Osiris Hor, born of[...]-Neith-is fixed-allocated (to make it all work...).” Comparable pieces / Origin: Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie:SHABTIS (BSAE 57), London 1935, Pl. XLIV No. 585 see also Pl. XIII (Hieroglyphs). The shabti at Petries Book is also to find at the Homepage of the Petrie Museums, London, UC 40119: A comparison of the two shabtis shows that they certainly come from the same source or the same owner. Unfortunately it is never mentioned where Petrie has this Shabti. But it is quite plausible that the Shabti was once found by Petrie, later give away from him to someone and so the shabti came into the art trade. |

| The inscription reads as follows: Wsir Hm(.t)-nTr Mwt ... Pth TA-bAk(.t)-a(A)-S(A)-g(A) mAa-xrw \"Tthe Osiris, Priestess of the goddess Mut ... Ptah, Tabaket(en)ascheg, justified.\" The name of the deceased owner of the shabtis can be described as \"The Servant of the Ascheg\" translate. The name of education is well documented and suggests that it is \"Ascheg\" (perhaps \"Ascheq\" to read) to be a deity. The name of the deity is syllabic been written, that is, as follows: Aa-sha-ga . The syllabic spelling Egyptian writers use to foreign Terms and names to write in hieroglyphics. It is therefore, a foreign deity who is part of the name. Its be sure that Tabaketascheg was a priestess of the goddess Mut, the rest is hard to read and can not decipher on the basis of parallels. For a similar name, see, for example, formed tA-nt-bAb-nt (A)-aSq.t (?) on a coffin of the 22nd Dynasty, who is now in Berlin (Inventory 20,132). | Fly amulets first appeared in the late Predynastic period, around 3100 BC. They continued throughout the Middle Kingdom (2040-1750 BC) and New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC), and were made of various materials, including stone, faience and glass. Their exact purpose is uncertain. They might have been intended to bestow the notorious fecundity of the fly onto the wearer or they might have simply been used to drive off or protect against this common pest. This Flies are made of silber and very good quality. Rare! Literature: C.A.R. Andrews, Ancient Egyptian jewellery (London, The British Museum Press, 1996) S. Quirke and A.J. | The underside of the scarab shows a lion or a sphinx, who trampled one moribund enemy. To the right of the animal is a Djed-Pillar or a wall-hieroglyph. Under this a stylized Horus Eye. The motif of the sphinx and a lion who is trampling the enemies are often back on scarabs. The lion and the sphinx was a symbol of power and military strength of the Pharaoh. Therefore, he was also a regular feature of official representations of pharaonic power. The Djed-Pillar and the Wedat Eye and stand for the words Dd \"duration\" and wDA \"health\", because the reign
of the Pharaoh should take a long time, so that could protect Egypt from its enemies.

(HG):Recueil de travaux relatifs à la philologie et a l’archéologie égyptiennes et assyriennes (RecTrav), Bd. 36, Paris 1914, S. 83-101). The parents of this Thot-irdis are the mother Nephtys-ity and the father and Schepses-irdis. This Thot-irdis was also the Great Five of Thoth. In addition, they found in the tomb of a sheikh a fragment of a statue of Thoth-irdis, unspecified. As the proposal would create the following genealogy: Schepses-irdis (Grandfather), Nephtys-ity (Grandmother), Thot-irdis (Father) und Ta-di-Amun (Mother). The whole inscription can be translated as follows: Oh, shabti when someone to survey at the great of Ptah, Thot-irdis, the justified, the Great of the Five of Thoth, Thot-Irdis, the justified, born of the mistress of the House, Ta-di-Amun, the justified, to do any work to be done there in the realm of the dead, during there are barriers built as a man in his duty: \"Here I am\", you shall say. | Well preserved, painted wooden panel originally formed on of foot part of a box sarcohagus dated to the 12th. egyptian Dynasty, other parts of the Sarcophagus are located in American Private Collections, photos of famous Pieces (head and sides of the Coffin), see below. The name Snb.tjsj \"those who will be healthy\" is occupied twice at 12th. Dynasty. The Tomb of the first Senebtisi was discovered in 1907 at the Pyramid of Amenemhat I. at Lisht. Senebtisi has been buried in a set of three concentric coffins and the Tomb was robbed only partially. The coffins of this lady were broadly labeledsimilar to this one. In the most detailed and best archaeological publication, the funeral was a typical burial of the royal estate in the 12th Dynasty. Senebtisi was dated at Amenemhet. She was possible a member of the family of the Vizier Sesotris, this Tomb is nearby. The second \"Senet senebtisi\" was an ancient egyptian Princess. She is known primarily from an inscribed sarcophagus, in a Tomb next to the pyramid complex of Sesostris III. (ca. 1872 BC to around 1852 BC) found in Dahshur. Therefore, it is often assumed that she was the daughter of the ruler, probably by King Sesostris III., buried at the reign of Amenemhat III. The name Senebtisi is not very often, so thats possibly a daughter of one of these noble ladies. The translated inscription: \"Words spoken by the god Ra, I have given you the domain of the blessed in the Lord of the West (Osiris) Senebtisi\" |

| The Scarab has a horizontal inscription, which reads from right to left. The inscription above neb is a winged sun disk, and below a hieroglyph-framed. The inscription itself reads as follows: Hz Hz(.w) (n) Hr-Ra nb anx \"praised by Horus-Re, the Lord of Life\" .
The winged sun disk was to protect the gods and the king. praised by the gods or people, again, was the goal of every ancient Egyptian to reach the next world after death. This is supported by numerous grave inscriptions. The scarab dated securely in the New Kingdom. About the syncretic deity Horus-Re (or Re-Horus), the testimony from the New Kingdom to the Greco-Roman period, little is known.
